Read more about Wayfinding here.
Wayfinding coaches do the following:
Support students in navigating college, career, and life opportunities during high school;
Empower students to be more self-aware to discover who they are, what they are good at, what they like to do, and why they do what they do;
Encourage students to explore multiple college and career options and design their own pathway based on their purpose and passions;
Design learning experiences outside the four walls of the school that allows students to develop a greater sense of identity, belonging, and purpose;
Remove barriers that may prevent students from realizing their full potential;
Connect students to opportunities and resources that help students meet their short and long term goals;
Encourage students to practice the mindsets and habits of a creative problem solver to develop the student’s capacity to lead their own journey;
Increase engagement in real world experiences so learners can prototype and test their curiosities and passions and make key discoveries and insights about themselves.
